Organisations Making a Difference

The School Club Zambia

School Club Zambia helps children and young people in some of Zambia's most rural communities gain the education, skills, and opportunities they need to build financially secure and independent lives. Working primarily in the remote Sinazongwe District on the shores of Lake Kariba, where poverty, limited educational opportunities, and climate-related challenges continue to affect many families, we tackle the root causes of poverty through girls' education, vocational skills training, entrepreneurship, literacy, and climate resilience programmes.

Since 2011, we have worked alongside local communities to directly support more than 5,000 children and family members, helping girls stay in school, creating opportunities for young people to earn an income, and strengthening schools through practical, sustainable projects. As a UK-registered charity and Zambian NGO with deep roots in the communities we serve, we are uniquely placed to understand local challenges and develop solutions that are led by local people, creating lasting change long after individual projects have ended.
